AI for the Supply Chain · GA.IA

Forecast demand. Govern the chain.

GA.IA is the UEBB supply chain engine: nine machine learning models integrated in a single platform — from demand forecasting to defect classification — presented at LIUC as a concrete case of AI applied to the supply chain.

In practice

Demand forecasting

Time series with LSTM (94.5% accuracy) and a Prophet + XGBoost ensemble (96.6%): per-SKU forecasts that update with new data, with confidence intervals — not just a number.

Control tower

Shipment tracking, anomaly detection with Isolation Forest and reinforcement learning, bottlenecks spotted before they stop the line.

Quality and risk

Defect classification with Random Forest (>90%), SKU segmentation with K-Means + UMAP, sentiment analysis with DistilBERT on news affecting suppliers.

Planning

Capacity planning and scheduling with real constraints, integrated with ERP and MES: the plan changes when reality changes.

Project

In GA.IA

GA.IA, presented at LIUC

Demo on 100 SKUs with real-time forecasting, a control tower with GPS and hybrid AI (Prophet + XGBoost + Isolation Forest), quality & compliance with ML defect classification, production planning and news-based risk intelligence. Results measured in the demo: forecast errors −18%, on-time deliveries +15%, response times −25%.

How we work

Four steps, always the same

  1. 01

Data audit: sales, orders, lead times, master data

  2. 02

Forecasting and anomaly detection models on your data, with backtesting

  3. 03

    ERP/MES integration and operational dashboards

  4. 04

    Release, accuracy monitoring, periodic retraining

Frequently asked questions

How much data is needed to start?

Two to three years of per-SKU sales history with basic information (promotions, seasonality, lead times) is enough. Where data is scarce we use hierarchical models and external variables.

Is GA.IA a product or a project?

It is our engine: the modules adapt to your processes and systems. We show it in a demo and configure it on your case.
