What are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites send to the user's browser, where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit. This Cookie Policy is drafted in accordance with the Italian Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools dated 10 June 2021, and Article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Italian Privacy Code).
Types of cookies used
Technical cookies (necessary)
Strictly necessary for the operation of the website and the delivery of the service requested by the user. Pursuant to Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, they do not require prior consent. Disabling them may make the site unusable.
Third-party analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC) to measure aggregate site usage. These cookies are activated only with the user's explicit consent given through the cookie banner: without consent, the Google Analytics script is not loaded. Our GA4 instance is configured with hardened privacy settings: automatic IP anonymization, Google Signals disabled, ad personalization disabled, and the data retention period reduced to 14 months (the minimum value GA4 allows).
Transfers of data outside the European Union
Data collected via Google Analytics 4 may be transferred to Google LLC, based in the United States of America. The transfer takes place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023), to which Google adheres, and on a residual basis under the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission pursuant to Article 46 GDPR.
Consent record
In accordance with the accountability principle under Article 7.1 GDPR and the Italian Data Protection Authority Provision No. 98 of 27 February 2025, every consent decision (acceptance, refusal or customization) is recorded through two parallel mechanisms: locally in the user's browser with timestamp and version of the informative notice accepted, and in the Controller's server logs in minimized form containing only the UTC timestamp, the choice made, the policy version and a technical identifier obtained by applying a SHA-256 hash function with salt to the visitor's IP address (making it non-reversible and non-attributable to the person). Consent logs are retained for 24 months and used exclusively as evidence in case of complaints.
